Refund & Cancellation
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work on the Baljia platform. It applies alongside our Terms of Service. Baljia bills in three separate ways: a recurring subscription, usage credits, and pass-through costs such as ad spend. Except as described below and where the law requires otherwise, all sales are final.
1. Subscriptions and automatic renewal
- Paid plans renew automatically. Each billing period is charged in advance to the payment method on file, and the plan keeps renewing until you cancel.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused features, or a mid-period cancellation.
- When you cancel, future renewals stop and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not prorate or refund the rest of that period.
2. Task credits
- Credits are charged only when a task starts running. Chatting with the CEO and planning work do not use credits, though they count toward the AI usage limits in our Terms.
- Credits do not roll over between billing periods. On a paid plan, credits left at the end of a billing period, including credits from credit packs, do not carry over to the next one.
- Credits are non-refundable, including once used and any unused balance at period end.
3. Failed tasks
If a task fails, its credit is normally consumed. If you believe a task failed because of a platform or infrastructure error on our side, contact support@baljia.ai. We review these case by case and, where the failure was our fault, credit your balance back.
4. Ad spend and other pass-through costs
When you authorise advertising, ad spend is billed as the actual amount spent by the ad platform (for example Meta) plus a 20% platform fee. The same 20% platform fee applies to other pass-through costs, such as paid third-party API usage by apps Baljia builds for you. If you run ads through your own connected ad account, you pay the ad platform directly and no platform fee applies to that spend. Baljia takes no share of your sales or revenue. You control campaign budgets and approve campaigns before they run. Ad spend and other pass-through costs already incurred are non-refundable, because they have been paid through to the provider.
5. Billing errors
If you were charged in error, for example a duplicate charge or a charge after you cancelled, contact support@baljia.ai with your account and charge details and we will correct it.
6. How to cancel
- Sign in and open the menu in your dashboard.
- Choose Cancel plan. Only the company owner sees this option; teammates cannot cancel a plan.
- If your plan is billed through Razorpay (most plans), Baljia cancels it for you straight away and shows the date your paid period ends. If a renewal payment is still unpaid, the plan ends immediately and you are not charged again. If your plan is billed through Stripe (older plans), this opens Stripe's secure billing page, where you confirm the cancellation.
If you can't sign in or something goes wrong, email support@baljia.ai from the address on your account and we will cancel it for you. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not delete your account or data. To close your account and delete data, see our Data Deletion page.
7. How to request a refund
For a billing error or a platform-fault credit, email support@baljia.ai from the address on your account, with your company name and a short description of the charge. We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.
8. Payment disputes
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Filing a chargeback before contacting us may lead to your account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under applicable law. Where local law grants you a stronger refund or cancellation right, that right applies.
