Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This page explains how to delete the data Baljia AI holds about you. Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how long we keep it.
1. Remove Baljia from your Instagram account
- In the Instagram app, go to your profile, open the menu, and choose Settings and activity, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites. On the web, open Instagram Settings and choose Apps and websites.
- Under Active, select Baljia and choose Remove.
- Meta then sends Baljia a data deletion request. Baljia removes the connection and its Meta-derived webhook, delivery, inbox, CRM lead and captured-email records from active systems, and Meta gives you a confirmation code with a link back to this page, where you can check the status.
A Baljia workspace administrator can also disconnect Instagram from inside Baljia, on the Instagram AutoDM settings page. Disconnecting removes the provider subscription, pauses active automations, and destroys the reusable access token.
2. Delete your Baljia account and company data
- Email privacy@baljia.ai from the email address on your Baljia account, with the subject "Delete my account", and name the company or companies you want deleted. Say in the same email if you also want us to delete your sign-in record and the data your app's users entered (see below).
- We confirm the request with you by email before anything is deleted.
- If you have a paid plan, cancel it first from the dashboard menu, or ask us to cancel it in the same email (see our Refund & Cancellation policy).
- Disconnect your connected accounts from the Integrations page first, or revoke Baljia's access in each service's own settings (see section 3).
What is deleted: every company you name, with everything stored for it: tasks, chats, memory, documents, generated content, contacts and prospect records, stored access tokens for connected accounts, saved website logins, team memberships, and the websites and apps Baljia built and hosts for you, including their files.
What may remain unless you ask: your sign-in record (your name and email address), and the data kept in our shared app database for apps Baljia hosts for you, including what your app's users entered, which is removed separately. We delete both when you ask. A connection you made through one of our providers (such as Composio for business apps or Unipile for LinkedIn) can stay active at that provider until you disconnect it or revoke Baljia's access in the other service.
Timeline: we delete your account and company data within 30 days of confirming your request. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Backup copies may remain until the backup lifecycle completes, and we keep payment records and tax invoices for as long as tax law requires. Razorpay and Stripe keep their own payment records under their own policies.
If you are a teammate in someone else's company, we remove you from that company when you ask; the company's data belongs to its owner.
3. Disconnect other accounts
You can manage and disconnect connected accounts from the Integrations page in your dashboard. You can also revoke Baljia's access at any time from the other service's own settings, for example your Google Account's third-party connections, or the connected-apps settings in LinkedIn, X or Slack. To disconnect your own WhatsApp Business number, use Disconnect on the WhatsApp settings page; this stops the support assistant and destroys the stored access token. To delete past customer message records, email privacy@baljia.ai.
4. If Baljia contacted you for a business
If you received an email sent through Baljia on behalf of a business, reply "unsubscribe" to it, and we mark you as opted out of that business's outreach through Baljia. You can also email privacy@baljia.ai with your email address or profile link. We mark you as opted out of that business's outreach, and pass any request to see or delete your data to the business, which decides how your data is used; we delete it on the business's instruction or where the law requires. You can also ask the business that contacted you directly.
If you messaged a business on WhatsApp and its Baljia support assistant replied, the business controls that conversation. Ask the business, or email privacy@baljia.ai with your phone number and the business name, and we pass your request to the business and delete the records on its instruction or where the law requires.
5. Questions and complaints
Email privacy@baljia.ai. If your request is not resolved, contact our Grievance Officer.
